I am working on a project and I am at a dead end and maybe you could help. My great-grandfather was Deputy Marshall of Kiowa approximately 1896 and was shot while taking a prisoner to the town calabose for disrupting the peace. My g-grandfather lived but what I am at a dead end is, I want to know who shot him and what happened to him. Any suggestions as where to go?
