aunt, Anna Marie Schroeder HENKS. Born Carroll Co, MO. Lived many
years in St John, Stafford Co, KS. Married unknown given name HENKS.
Died 1972 at St John, KS. Buried Great Bend Cemetery. Are there
other HENKS families in this area? Thanks in advance.

My father and several of his siblings were born in Stafford County in the
1800. My dad was William Hays SMITH, born
5/28/1894; Ella Maud SMITH, born 4-7-1886; Claud Albert SMITH, born 9/30/1890;
William Henry SMITH, born 4/3/1896; and Loulie Alice SMITH, born 8/8/1899.
As far as I know all of these siblings were born on the family farm in
Stafford County.
I would love to hear from anyone with any connection. I do have information I
would be willing to share.

I am looking for information on Daniel AGLER. In
1900 census he was one ED.295, Vol 51, SH 7, Line 3, but I haven't found
the census records. He was born in Kansas in 1885 and lived in Stafford
County, Clear Creek.

Dora FRENZ MAYHEW and Husband Thomas MAYHEW both died in 1940. They lived in Trousdale. Raised

TAYLOR, HUCKELLBetty Weber July 10, 2001 I have been
searching for information regarding my ggrandfather's family. They lived
in St. John, KS for a number of years, where my grandfather, Walter B. TAYLOR,
and four other brothers were born. My grandfather was born in 1879, so I
am sure the family lived there then. My ggrandmother, Jessie Ella
HUCKELL, taught school in Girard, KS. That is where they met and married
in 1876. Would love to be able to find any information about them---so
far, my attempts to find anything on them, in KS, have been to no avail!

He was born in Ohio
in 1848 moved to Indiana as a young man with his parents (need info) married
Laura Ramsey 1873 moved to Olathe, Kansas, she passed away in 1883 and he
moved to Stafford county and married Anna Ross in 1886 and was a
school
teacher and also had a freight line from Stafford to Pratt. He lived in
Stafford for 26 years, until his death in 1909.
Does any one know of this family? I need information on his parents.

Pat August 7, 2001 Looking for information on the family of Demetrius Ypsalanti BATES who died
in Stafford Kansas on Sept 10, 1904. He was born Feb 22, 1828 in
Wayne Co., Iowa. He was married to Fannie HATFIELD born July 22, 1823 in
Wayne Co., Ia and died April 18, 1883 in Lewisburg, Iowa. Children were: John
(married May Agnes BOYD), Mary, Bruce, LaFayette, Eva (married John William
Grant BOYD) , Wayne.

August 12, 2001 I am looking for any information on the
BORDEWICK family of
Stafford County. My Great -Great grandfather Ben BORDEWICK moved there in 1876 from
Missouri, they settled near Radium with his parents. I would appreciate
any information if anyone knows anything. Ben had a brother Bill and sister
Tina, and possibly more siblings that my family is not aware of. The family
is in the 1880 census that was Extracted by Cindy Koegel. So they were in
Lincoln township by June 1st of 1880. If anyone has any info then please E-mail

Civil War General Joseph Alexander COOPER. He lived for a time in Stafford County near St. John. I am a history
columnist for the LaFollette Press in LaFollette, Tn, and am doing a short
history for the newspaper regarding the General. He died in 1910 and his body
was removed to the National Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, Tn. Any
information would be appreciated.

were from Iowa. but may have married in St. John, KS, Their Daughter-Nellie
Ruth MILLER was my Grandmother and she was born there. She
married Elmer Roy JOHNSON and they were in St. John KS also. (This was in
the early 1920's.) My mother Roberta Johnson was also born there. Any
information about these people would be greatly appreciated. Were there any
other siblings of Nellie Ruth??

Winfield Scot DELLINGER and Nancy Caroline POUND. They had 13 children,
my grandfather Harvey was born in Stafford in 1895. Winfield was born
about 1849 and Nancy in 1854. Any help would be appreciated.

April 5, 1885. Her parents were Marimon Davis son of Catheryn Dowd,
Gallagher,
Davis, Webb, Barton (what can I say she lived a long time!) and John Davis.
He
was born in Indiana and Harriett Moore, daughter of Jackson Moore and Elizabeth
Summers Mills both of Posey County, Indiana and later Gallatin County,
Illinois.
Anyone wanting to share information on this family or related families?
Harriett's brother James Moore and sister Frances Moore Parker also lived there
at sometime according to letters I have from Jackson to Harriett.
