Rebecca Penn and John Chadwick

Rebecca Penn was born about 1795, probably in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Bond was issued in Franklin County, Kentucky, September 18, 1817 for the
intended marriage of Rebecca Penn to John Chadwick. Consent was given by her father, Benjamin Penn. Marriage was recorded in Shelby County, Kentucky,
September 18, 1817.  The Jn. Shadwick family is  listed in Henry County, Kentucky on the 1820 census.  The 1830 census reports John Chadwick in Franklin
County, Kentucky and in Franklin County 1840 as John Shadrach.  In 1850 the John Shaderick family is living in Henry County, Kentucky with their children;
George, Mary, Cynthia, Emily and Susan Shaderick.  Rebecca's age is reported as 49 years
indicating and estimate of birth about 1801.

Known Children

Nancy Ann Chadwick, born about 1820 in Franklin County, Kentucky.  She married William
Henry Lee, son Zachariah, on March 19, 1842 in Franklin County, Kentucky.  Their daughter,
Sarah Ann (b. November 3, 1843 d. March 29, 1925) married John Thomas Warren.
