John
Nelson Wiley, born September 30,1895 in Franklin County died on July 10,
1991 in Fayette County. On January 11, 1918, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy. During World War I, he served on the U.S.S. Lake and was discharged on August 29, 1919.
On December
25, 1923, John married Mary Elizabeth Harrod, daughter of Forest and
Emma John married second, Elizabeth Brawner O'Nan in Franklin County on August 25, 1977.
