In the name of God Amen. I, Ealenor Barkshire of the County of Grant and State of Kentucky being of an advanced age, but of sound mind and knowing the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life and wishing to settle all my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made,

First, I desire that my surviving friends at my decease have me decently buried and all my funeral expenses paid.  Second, I will that all my just debts be pad. Third, I will that all my lands be sold to the best advantage and the other property of every description also be sold and the proceeds be equally divided between my three oldest children and my granddaughter, Helena Neal, that is to say Charlotty Massy, Perry Collier, Polly Ruddell and Helena Neal, to the heirs of my son, Pendleton Collier, I give and bequeath one dollar and no more.

Lastly, I will that Matthew Neal and Jesse Conyers be executors to carry this my last will into execution. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 18th day of October 1851. The foregoing will was filed at the term above, stated and proven by the oaths of Jas. R. Sechrest, James L. Henderson, two of the subscribing witnesses thereto, which was received and entered to be recorded which is admitted to record this 26th of January 1854. H. Woodyard, Clerk, by J. B.
