This my last will and testament, I, William J. Beard of Grant County do will to my wife, Mary E. Beard, all of my estate after my just debts is paid after my death, my property is to be sold to the highest bidder on a credit of twelve months that my wife wishes to be sold.

I also appoint my wife, Mary E. Beard, executrix of my estate to have and hold all of my estate after all just demand? be paid for the benefit of her and two children after the portion of my father's estate that is coming to me is collected. I appoint T. J. Brumfield to purchase a home for my wife and children with the means coming from my father, G. W. Beard, with the means that I know? have, there shall be no security required of my wife, Mary E. Beard.

This I acknowledge to be my last will and testament. Given under my hand this day and date July 18th, 1852. W. J. Beard. Attest: A. McMillan, James Ewing.

Grant County Court August Term 1852.
I do hereby certify that the foregoing will of William J. Beard, dec'd, was produced in open court at the term above stated and proven by the oath of James Ewing one of the subscribing witnesses thereto which was ordered to be recorded which will together with this certificate both been duly admitted to record in my office this 20th day of August 1852.
