347 I, Pitman Cloudus of Williamstown, County of Grant and State of Kentucky, being weak of body but of sound and disposing mind do hereby nominate, constitute and make this my last will and testament in manner and form following, and as touching my worldly concerns and the good with which it hath pleased God to bless me, it is my will and desire that my executrix hereinafter to be named to do first, pay off all debts, claims and demands which justify stand against me on my estate whatever, and for that purpose she is hereby authorized to sell and make deeds of conveyance to any part as parcel of my estate real or personal and appropriate the proceeds of such sale or sales in that way. Secondly, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Joyce Cloudus, the whole of my estate, real and personal, which may remain after my debts as aforesaid are paid, to give, sell, will and dispose of at her own will and pleasure and to make a deed or deeds of conveyance for the same. I hereby authorize my said wife, Joyce Cloudus, to give and dispose of any part or parts of my said estate which may remain in her hands to any of my children as their situation or necessities may require at her discretion and I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my beloved wife, Joyce Cloudus, my sole executirx to execute and convey this my last will and testament into full force and effect. I also further renounce and revoke and disallow any and all former will or wills by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this 31st day of December 1831. P.
