In the name of God Amen. I, Benjamin Craig of Boone County and State of
Kentucky, knowing the uncertainly of life and the certainty of death being
of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament
revoking all the other will or wills heretofore made by me, first of all
after my death it is my will that all my debts be paid out of my part of
my estate either real or personal after which I give and bequeath the balance
of my estate both real and personal to my three grandsons and my own son
of Boon County and now as follows to wit: Marellen Riddell, Cyrus Riddell,
Anderson Riddell, Glover Page Craig, the three sons of James Riddle and Sally,
his wife, and Tolover Page Craig my own son and grandson to Thomas Montgomery
of the county aforesaid and that no individual shall ever have it in his
power to defraud or swindle the aforesaid legatees out of my
inheritance.
I do most most solemnly constitute ordain and appoint the county court of Grant County and State of Kentucky to be my lawful and testamental executors to direct and overlook and divide my estate between my grandsons and my own son upon the most and just and equal terms that there be or judgment with full power to appoint the commissioners of the county to attend upon the spot where any part of my estate may be found and there divided and report to the county court of Grant County. This deed from Benjamin Craig to Narcittus Riddell and others was
this day produced to me the clerk to the court for the county aforesaid and
acknowledged by P. Craig to be his act and deed for the uses and purposes
therein mentioned and at his special request the same together with this
certificate is duly admitted to record in my office. Attest: Wm. A. Wilson,
