In the name of God Amen, I, Benjamin Craig of Grant County and the State of Kentucky being feeble in body, of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament revoking all other wills heretofore made by me.

First of all, I give and bequeath William Montgomery, my stepson by law, to Benjamin Craig, Phillip P. Craig, Sarah P. Craig, and Mary Craig, my sons and infant daughters all my estate in the County of Grant and State aforesaid to be equally between those ___ before mentioned,

Secondly, I give and bequeath to Benjamin Craig, Philip P. Craig, Sarah P. Craig, and Mary Etta Craig my infant daughter and two sons aforesaid all my estate in the County of Gallatin and Boone in the State aforesaid to be equally divided between those ____ when they come to the lawful age or marry.

Appointing my said stepson, William Montgomery, my agent and trustee to have the contract and management of that portion of my estate in the County of Grant and Cyrus Riddle of Boone County my grandson, I appoint and authorize my agent and trustee with full power to contract and manage that portion of my estate in the Counties of Gallatin and Boone for the benefit of those ____ before mentioned, that is to say Benjamin Craig, Philip P. Craig, Sarah P. Craig and Mary Etta Craig, my infant daughter with the full right and power both my agents and trustees to use and advance all times amount of each child's portion to defray the expenses for schooling, suitable clothing. Having heretofore provided for our youngest son Cyrus and my wife, Henrietta Craig in a marriage contract which ____ and ____ portions of the home tract of land I now live on and by said marriage contract a child's portion my whole estate. Grant County Court January Term 1852.
I, H. Woodyard, Clerk of the county court aforesaid do certify that this last will and testament of Benja Craig, deceased, was produced in open court at the term above stated and proven by the oaths of Thomas McBee and Jeremiah McBee, two subscribing witnesses thereto which is ordered to be recorded whereupon the same is duly admitted to record in my office given under my hand the 14th day of January 1852.    H.
