In the name of God Amen. I, Thomas P. Dickerson of Grant County, Kentucky, do hereby declare the following to be my wish and will ____ to my property real and personal, namely:

Item 1. I wish my wife, Mariann, to have and to hold for her use and my children's benefit all that part of my land lying on the west side of the turnpike road wherever my dwelling house stands.

Item 2. I with my personal property sold and as much of my land on the east side of the turnpike road sold also as will pay my just debts. In testimony whereof I have hereby authorized my name to be subscribed this 30th day of April 1849.  Thos. P. Dickerson. Attest: B. N. Carter, B. F. Day.

P. S. I wish my wife to have the household and kitchen furniture and one first choice horse and two first choice cows and my son, Nathan, to keep his saddle which he paid for himself.   B. N. Carter, B. F. Day.

State of Kentucky Grant County Court May Term 1849.
This last will and testament of T. P. Dickerson, deceased, was produced in open court at the term above stated and proven by the oaths of B. N. Carter and B. F. Day subscribing witnesses thereto to the last will and testament of said T. P. Dickerson, deceased, and ordered to be recorded whereupon the same is duly admitted to record in my office this 2nd day of July 1849.   Wm. Smith, Clerk, by E. H. Smith, Deputy Clerk.
