I, Henry Furgeson Sr., of the County of Grant and State of Kentucky being somewhat sick and weak in body, but of sound mind and disposing memory (for which I thank God) and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with, I give and bequeath the same manner following that is to say of what is here mentioned and willed to my wife, Sarah, I desire that all the remainder _____ property be immediately sold after my decease and out of their moneys arising therefore all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.

Secondly, I give and bequeath to my wife Sarah Furgison the falling part of my personal estate for and during her national life viz hone saddle and bridle, two cows, also one-half of the stalk of sheep and hogs that may be on hand at my decease, also two beds, beddings? and bedsteads, one bureau, one square table, one dressing table, one trunk, one best looking glass, one cupboard furniture, one set of chairs, one set of horse harness and gears, the half of all the pot metal that may be at my decease, one ax and one one hoe I also bequeath to my wife the said Sarah all my land on the west side of the turnpike road with all and singular it appurtenances for and during the turn of her natural life and after her decease, I give the said real will? as the before mentioned personal estate to my three children ____ of the said Sarah, viz, Margaret Hugh and Isabella Fergison that is to say to Hugh one-half of the above described and to Margaret, Isabella one half of the above equal share of the other half and to be enjoyed thereon said. Margaret, Hugh and Isabell and their heirs forever.

Thirdly, I desire that the rest of my estate both real and personal of what nature a kind soever it may be not herein before particularly disposed if I desired to be sold and after paying my final expenses and pay to Samuel Fergison, Wm. Fergison, and Sarah Ashbrook the sum of ten dollars, each incurrent money of the State of Kentucky, the remainder to be equally divided between my daughter, Elizabeth Wallaw, Jane Martie, John Fergison, James Fergison, Thomas Fergison, Agness Fergison and Henry Furgison, which I give to them, their heirs, executors and administrators, and signs forever the part of Jane Martie or to her ___ to before the benefit of her three children, Agness John and David Lindsay to their and their heirs forever.

Lastly, I do hereby appoint and constitute my friends, Thomas Clark and N. Henderson together my wife Sarrah Fergison executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments by me heretofore made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this (date omitted) day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-five. This last will and testament of Henry Fergison, dec'd, was produced in open court and proved by the oaths of James How and William Harrison the two subscribing witnesses there to be the act and deed of said Fergison and ordered to be recorded. Test: H. B. Smith, CGCC.
