In the name of God, Amen, I Amos Fisher of the County of Grant and State of Kentucky being weak of body but of sound disposing mind and memory, for which I thank Almighty God, knowing the uncertainty of human life and that all men are born to die, do make this my last will and testament and do hereby dispose of my property in the following manner that is to say, 1st. It is my will that all of my just debts be paid out of my property.

2nd. It is my will that my wife, Huldah Fisher, receive the one half of the income of the farm on which I now live or as much thereof as shall well and comfortably support her during her natural life.

3rd. I hereby give and bequeath to each of my sons, Gustavious Fisher, Theodorick Fisher, and to my six grandchildren, Matilda Fisher, Amos Fisher, Gustavious Fisher II, John Fisher, James Fisher and Nathaniel M. Fisher, the sum of one dollar each.

4th. I give and bequeath to my grandchildren Caroline Fisher, Abigail Fisher, James M. Fisher and Martha Ann Fisher the farm on which I now live with the with the reservation that if Caroline Fisher or Abigail Fisher their heirs or offsprings shall ever in anywise demand of James Fisher of Boone, his heirs or offsprings, any (blank) whatever in consequence of said ____ having been recently for my son Gustavious Fisher, then and in that case I hereby authorize my said son to sell so much of the land hereby bequeathed to them as shall amount to all that may be recovered from said security and twenty percent in addition thereto.

5th. I do hereby constitute and appoint Gustavious Fisher sole executor of this my last will and testament and whereas Caroline Fisher and Abigail Fisher are children of the first wife of my said son and heirs at law of some part of the estate of Timothy Stanley of the State of Ohio deceased, therefore in order to divide my farms in such manner as to place said sons four children upon equal footing, I do hereby authorize and appoint him as my executor to sell all and convey the whole or any part of this property bequeathed to my said grandchildren Caroline, Abigail, James M. and Martha Ann Fisher and to divide the proceeds thereof in such manner among them as shall in his judgment put them on equal footing taking into consideration what may be received by them personally from other sources than this my bequest. This last will and testament of Amos Fisher, dec'd, was produced in court and proven by the oath of Robert Smith who also made oath that Reuben L. Barker signed his name thereto as a witness in his presence whereupon the same was received and ordered to be recorded which is hereby accordingly done: Att: Wm. Smith, Clerk, by J. E. Records, Deputy Clerk.
