I, William Glasscock of the County of Grant, State of Kentucky, being weak in body but sound in mind, yet knowing the frailty of man, do constitute that my last will and testament, that is to say, first of all I commit my soul to the great God that gave it, my body to the grave.

First of all, as to my worldly goods which God hath given me real and personal I do bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Glasscock and that I do hereby appoint her my said wife my soul executrix and that she settle up all my debts out of the goods and chattels so bequeathed to her, done by me this 29th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-one. State of Kentucky Grant County February Court (14th day) 1831.
This last will and testament of Wm. Glasscock, dec'd, was produced in open court and proved by the oaths of James Ashcraft and Wm. Conrad the two subscribing witnesses thereto to be his ___ and deed for the use and purposes therein named and ordered to be recorded which is in Will Book A, Page 310. Attest: H. B. Smith CGCC.
