Know all men by this that I, John Hall, being in my right mind do make my last will as follows:

First. I will my body to the dust from whence it came and my spirit to the Lord who gave it.

Second. I will all my estate to my wife, Therara?, my land, horses, hogs, sheep, cattle, household and furniture, and every thing I own to my wife as long as she lives and then equally divided with my children.  John Hall.  Attest: Josiah Risen, Thomas Risen.

Grant County Court December Term 1856.
The foregoing will of John Hall, deceased, was the the term above stated, was produced into court and proven by the oaths of Josiah Risen and Thomas Risen, attesting witnesses thereto, and the same being received was ordered to record which is duly recorded in my office this 18th day of December 1856.   Attest: B. N. Carter, Clerk.
