F. born October 22, 1827; Mahala F. born June 2, 1829; Suckey N. born November 7, 1830; and Arner or Ames W. born December 10, 1833. When young, the veteran moved with his father to North Carolina. He resided in Orange County, North Carolina, when he entered the service. He late lived in Guilford and Caswell Counties, North Carolina. In 1832 he resided in Stokes County, North Carolina. The veteran died September 16, 1842, place not indicated.

When the veteran applied for pension he stated that he enlisted in November 1778 and served at various times, amounting to 3 years, 3 months, and 20 days, as Private, Corporal and Sergeant with the North Carolina Troops under Captains White, James Shepherd, John Jemmison, Dixon and Edwin Gwyn and Colonels Sanders, Archibald Lytle and William O'Neal, and that he was in the battles of Brier Creek, Whitsall's Mills and Guilford and at the siege of Augusta.

James Larimore/Larrimore was pensioned on Certificate 12064 which was issued under the Act of June 7, 1842. Pension was paid at the North Carolina Agency. Leaner Larimore/Larrimore, widow of the veteran, was pensioned on Certificate 2620 which was issued under the Act of February 3, 1853. Pension was paid at the North Carolina Agency.

Warrant 26421 for 160 acres of bounty land was issued under the Act of March 3, 1855, to Leaner Larimore/Larrimore, widow of the veteran, on account of his Revolutionary War service.
