In the name of God Amen. I, Samuel Moore of Grant  County, Kentucky being sick and weak in body, but of sound mind and disposing memory for which I thank God and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous of disposing of all such worldly goods as it hath pleased God to bless me with, I give and bequeath the same in manner following, that is to say,

First, I desire immediately after death my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.

Secondly and after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses, I give to my brother, Jason Moore, all my personal and real estate, namely my interest in a small farm in Harrison County, Kentucky, also the one half of the house and lot on Crooked Creek together with all goods and bonds that I may be concerned, both in this state or any other which I gave to him, his heirs, executors, administrator forever. This I make as my last will and testament revoking all others made by me. Given under my hand this 26th day of December 1849.  Samuel (X) Moore. Signed in the presence of us, Isaac Ramey, John  Q.? State of Kentucky Grant County Court January Term 1850.
This last will and testament of Samuel Moore, deceased, was produced in court at the term above mentioned and was proven by the oath of Isaac Ramey who also testified that the other subscribing witness, John Q.? Nelson, subscribed the same in the presence both of the testator and the said witness and at the request of the said testator and ordered to be recorded whereupon the same is duly recorded in my office this 25th day of April 1850.
