Be it known to all whom it may concern that I, William Myers of Grant County and State of Kentucky, do on the first day of April in the year of our Lord 1820 in the full possession of my natural senses do leave this instrument of writing as my last will and testament, to it or make (here of Robert Vickers of Boone County and State aforesaid), as my lawful administrator and executor and do __?__ him to take the governorship of my two sons Duncan and Joseph Myers until such time as they shall become of lawful age and then to cause them to choose some mechanical occupation, and to use his best endeavors that they become master of it; and further that all my real and personal estate shall be sold for the benefit of my children except my wearing apparel and my deceased wife's apparel which is reserved for the use of my children; a white counterpin reserved for my daughter Martha Ann Myers and after all my lawful debts are paid, a part shall be laid out for the education of my children, and the balance reserved as a legacy for them when they become of age, if a remainder is left. Given under my hand day and date as above. In testimony whereof I set my hand. William (X) Myers.    Daniel Gurly, John Cunningham.

State of Kentucky Grant County April Court 1826.
This last will of William Myers was produced to court and proved by the oath of John Cunningham to be the act and deed of William Myers, dec'd, and said Cunningham also made oath that he saw Daniel Gurly subscribe his name to said will as a witness thereto, whereupon the same is ordered to be recorded.
