In the name of God Amen.     I, John Thomas, of Williamstown, being of sound mind do make the following will: I give all my estate real personal and mixed to my beloved wife, Eleanor Thomas, and appoint her by sole executrix and request the county court to ask no security of her. She has been a good wife and worthy of my affections and property. This is my last will and signed this 4th of November 1850. John Thomas. Signed and acknowledged in presence of Seth Doud, Dan'l M. Payne, E. Boyers.

Grant County Court Term 1853.
The foregoing will of John Thomas was filed at the term above by Eleanor Thomas, his executrix, and proven by the oath of Seth Doud, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto and he proving the signature of Daniel M. Payne, another subscribing witness, which was proven in open court and ordered to be recorded which is admitted to record this 31st day of January 1854.
