Thomas Thomas - Page 34
In the name of God, I, Thomas Thomas of the County of Grant and State of Kentucky, being sickly and infirm in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to Almighty God for the same and calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament, that is to say, first and principally of all I recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body to the grave to be buried in a decent and Christian like manner at the direction of my executors hereafter named, as touching such worldly property or estate as it has pleased God to bless me with in this life, I give, device and dispose of the same in the manner and form following.

My wish and desire is that my property, both real and personal, be divided equally into seven parts and I so will and bequeath unto my son James Thomas one of those parts, one of those parts to my son Wm. P. Thomas, one other of those parts to my daughter, Rebeckah Thomas, two of those parts to my daughter, Elizabeth Childers, one other of those parts to my son, Hezekiah Thomas, one other of those parts to my son, John Thomas, and I do hereby constitute and appoint my well beloved sons, Hezekiah Thomas and John Thomas, my lawful executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this 28th day of December 1832.

State of Kentucky Grant County March Court 1834.
