I, A. B. Watts, do hereby make this my last will and testament in manner
and form following, that is to say,
First, I desire that all my property except my household and kitchen furniture both real and personal be sold and from the proceeds thereof all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
Second, after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses, I give to my wife, Ellen Watts, fifteen hundred dollars together with my household and kitchen furniture during her widowhood or life time, but if she marries she is to refund five hundred dollars to my children and the balance that may be left at her death to my children likewise.
Third, all the rest of my estate I desire to be equally divided among my several children which I give to them and their heirs forever.
Fourth, I desire that my executor sell all my perishable property immediately after my death at public sale and my Negroes and land as soon as practicable for the best price that he can get.
And, lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend, William M. Hawkins, executor of this my last will and testament. A. B. Watts. Witnesses: M. J. Williams, W. L. Richards. (Date of will not given.)

Term 1849.
This last will and testament of A. B. Watts, dec'd, was produced in open
court at the term above stated an proven by the oaths of M. J. Williams and
W. L Richards subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and
whereupon the same is duly admitted to record in my office the 30th day of
June 1849.
