301 In the name of God Amen. I, John Wilson of the County of Grant and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of sound mind and memory thanks be given unto God, calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all man once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executors, nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall raise the same again by the mighty power of God. As ____ such worldly estate wherewith it has pleaded God to bless me within this life I give and dispose of the same in the manner and form: First, I give and bequeath to Sandford, Alfred, Bradford, sons of Abigal Points, to have all the farming utensils also the farm upon which I live to be held amongst the three sons until Alfred arrives to the age of twenty-one, also the cooking utensils to be kept for their use and benefit until Alfred arrives to the age of twenty-one years. And I do hereby leave Abigal Points, their mother, to have the care of the above named property as long as she lives single or until Alfred is twenty-one should she live single so long. I give and bequeath to Sandford my son the young sorrel horse, then the cattle that is sold the money of them all except the work ___ to be divided equal between Alfred Points, Sandford Points, Bradford Points and Jameson Jump. The profits arising from the sale my hogs shall be equally divided between Sandford, Alfred and Bradford Points. I give and bequeath to Alfred Points all the money that I have left by me at the time of my death. The two old horses and ____ to be sold and divided between the three sons of Abigal Points. There is a note that I hold against Seth Cutter the amount that is collected of that note to be equally divided among Abigal Points three sons Sandford, Alfred and Bradford and Jameson Jump is to have one equal part with the other three in Cutters note. And I do hereby appoint John Supple, William Wilson, my brother, my soul executors of this my last will and testament. And I do hereby disannul all and every other will and testament whatever. In witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 10th day of February 1829. John Wilson.
