AFFIDAVIT OF DESCENT
 

The affiant, Ernest Raines, states that Arkansas Raines died intestate on the 4th day of January, 1935 and James F. Raines died intestate on the 15th day of March 1940, both residents and citizens of and domiciled in Lee County, Kentucky, and that they left the following persons as their heirs at law, to-wit:

1.   Claude Raines, deceased,
     A son of James F. Raines, but no kin to Arkansas Raines
     Ellen Raines, widow, of Claude Raines, Lexington, Ky.
        Luman Raines, grandson, Indianapolis, Indiana
        Mary McClain, grand daughter, Louisville, Ky.
        Nettie Evans, grand daughter, Lexington, Ky.
        Beatrice DeJarnette, grand daughter, Richmond, Ky.

2.   Vernon Raines, son, 65, Baker, Cal.

3.   Walter Raines, son, 60, Weaverville, Cal.

4.   Earl Raines, son, 56, Bates, Ore.

5.   Bon Raines, son, deceased
6.   Earnest Raines, son, 56, Beattyville, Ky.
7.   Sudie R. Watson, daughter, deceased
     Herbert Watson, widower of Sudie, Irvine, Ky.
        Beatrice Hall, grand daughter, Winchester, Ky.
        Gertrude Henry, grand daughter
 
8.   Edna R. Hatton, daughter, 54, Middletown, Oh.

9.   Gladys R. Casey, daughter, 43, Cincinnati, Oh.

10.  Mamie Dancy, daughter, 40, California

11.  Frank Raines, son, deceased
     Dora Metcalf, widow of Frank

12.  Matt Raines, son, deceased

13.  Virgie R. Ford, daughter, deceased

14.  Robert Raines, son, deceased

 I, Edward B. Combs, Clerk of the Lee County Court, hereby certify that the foregoing Affidavit of Descent of Arkansas Raines and James F. Raines, certified as above, was this day lodged in my office for record; whereupon the same, with the foregoing and this certificate has been duly recorded in my office in Deed Book No. 72, page 503.
 Given under my hand, as Clerk aforesaid, this the 21st day of July, 1956
