Thursday, 22 August 1957Arch Young, 44, died Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Pattie Clay Infirmary at Richmond.
He was a native of Booneville and a member of the Crooked Creek Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Grace Taylor, Cincinnati; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Barrett and Mrs. Martha Williams, both of Cincinnati; Mrs. Rachel Southers, Richmond; Mrs. Lucy Smith, Owsley County and Mrs. Ruby Witt, Noland; three brothers, Richard Young, Booneville, Wesley Young, Cincinnati and Charlie Young, Richmond, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the grave in Young Cemetery at Booneville.

Friday, 1 July 1938Mrs. Grace Young, age 24, died at her home in Booneville Wednesday night, June 29, following a brief illness.
Funeral services and burial were held Thursday afternoon.
She is survived by her husband, Wess Young, and two daughters.

Friday, 8 August 1941James Young, who had been in bad health for some time, died at his home at Travelers Rest Monday.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Travelers Rest church by Rev. Ike Gabbard and the Rev. Charles L. Phillips.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife and four children: Mrs. Lula Herd Young, Walker, Joe, and Rudell Young, and Mrs. Waldo McCollum all of Travelers Rest.

Saturday, 14 May 1955Lebanon - Mrs. Laura Wade Young, 68, died at 8 p.m. Friday at the East Orchard Nursing home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson funeral home. Burial will be in Bethany cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Flake Strouth of R.R. 1, Oregonia, Mrs. Henry Walker of Lebanon and Mrs. Jack Fisher of North Madison, Ind.; a son, Robert of Middletown.

Thursday, 7 October 1954Mrs. Lula Young, 81, died at 5:30 p.m. October 1, at her home in Travellers Rest.
She was a member of the Travellers Rest Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three sons: J. W. Young and Joe H. Young, Hamilton, O.; and Rudell Young, Cincinnati; a daughter; Mrs. Mamie McCollum, Cincinnati; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Travellers Rest Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Robert M. McClure. Burial was in the family cemetery there. The body was removed to the residence from the King Justice Funeral Home.

Friday, 30 October 1964Booneville -- Richard Young, 65, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home here after a year's illness.
A retired farmer, he was a native of Owsley County and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rose Young; four sons, Jim, Stanley, Robert and Ralph Young, Booneville; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Woodward, Mrs. Flora Gibson, Mrs. Lula Murrell, Mrs. Martha Murrell and Mrs. Lena Mae Little, Booneville; two brothers, Charlie Young, Booneville, and Wess Young, Dayton, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Lula Young, Irvine; Mrs. Lucy Smith, Booneville; Mrs. Mary Barrett, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Rachel Southern, Trapp; 33 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at the residence by the Rev. George Williamson. Burial will be in the family cemetery. The body was returned to the residence from the King Justice and Searcy Funeral Home.
