James Arthur Newton
(Submitted by Patricia Newton Brown)

James Arthur Newton, (July 28,1921 - July 29,1984) son of Decatur and Lucy Warner, Newton.

James was a deaf mute and went to school in Louisville with his sisters Nannie Lee and Barbara, and brother Virgil who were all deaf.

In spite of their handicaps, all my uncles and aunts who were deaf mutes learned trades and were very talented people.

They all held down responsible jobs and never ask the world to feel pity or support them.

I am very proud to have had them as members of my family.

James had one child, Janice, by his first wife Ida Mae Bardin. Submitted by Patricia Newton, Brown
