John Henry & Sarah "Sally" Johnson Fox

This is John Henry FOX and his wife, Sarah "Sally" Johnson.

John Henry is the son of Johnny Fox and Nancy Cook/Cox (?).  He is the grandson of Samuel Fox, who was supposed to have come from England and settled in Stokes County, NC.

John Henry Fox was born abt. 1822 in Tennessee and died in Kentucky. (Conflicting reports, some say John Henry was born in 1819.)  The area of Tennessee John Henry is reportedly from is Anderson County, but that is yet to be documented (by Linda).

John Henry was found in the 1850 and 1860 Owsley County Census
