We at the Combs &c Research Group & Lee County Ky ALHN would like to thank
the Ben Caudill Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) for their
placement of Nicholas' headstone.  Their efforts in preserving our ancestors
graves and history is to be commended.  We'd also like to thank Larry Combs,
great grandson of Nicholas Combs, whose contact with the SCV, set into motion
the placement of this headstone.
