William Bumpus & Barbara Ellen Newton Cole

Barbara is daughter of Decatur (Dick) and Lucy Warner Newton and was born in Lee County. She is a deaf mute and went to deaf school in Louisville, Ky.
She married William Bumpus Cole and lived most of her married years in Connersville, Indiana.
She now lives in Ohio with one of her three sons and is also blind as well as deaf and mute, but takes care of herself and crochets beautiful afghans.
