Will of A. B. Estes

I, A. B. ESTES, of Beattyville Lee County, Kentucky being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament, that is to say:

First:  After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged I give and bequeath unto my wife Margaret Jane ESTES the dwelling and land connected therewith which are occupy as a homestead located in the Town of Beattyville, Lee County Ky.;  also one house and lot located in the the Town of Anthony County of Harper and State of Kansas, also all house hold and Kitchen furniture and all personal property that I am, or may be the owner of at my death.

Second:  I hereby appoint my wife Margaret Jane ESTES Executrix of this my last will and testament and request and direct that she be permitted to act as such Executrix without bond;  and I hereby revoke all former Wills by me made.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the 21st day of January 1899.

The above instrument was subscribed by said A. B. ESTES in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us and he at the same time declared the above instrument so subscribed, to be his last will and Testament, and we, at his request, have signed our names as witnesses hereto in his presence and the resence of each other and written opposite our names respective places of residence.

I, J. B. HIERONYMUS, Clerk of the Lee County Court certify that the foregoing Last will and Testament of A. B. ESTES ws filed in my office on the 17th day of June 1920, and on the 14th day of February 1921, which was the Regular February Term of the County Court, said Will was proven by the depositioin of F. A. LYONS, Jr. to be the last will and Testament of A. B. ESTES, deceased, and on said date said Will was ordered to record as the Last Will and Testament of A. B. ESTES deceased.  Whereupon said Will and this my certificate have been duly recorded in my said office in Will Book No. 1 page 177.
Given under my hand this 7th day of March 1921
