I Amanda Helen HARGIS of the County of Lee and State of Kentucky being perfect in mind memory & understanding, do hereby, make Establish this as my last will and testament in the name of God, Amen.
First - I do hereby make and appoint Jas. HARGIS my husband, my Executer and that he shall not be required to give any bond.
Second - I hereby authorize and direct him at his own will and pleasure to sell all  and any Lands or other property that I now own and apply the proceeds in any way or manner he may seem fit after paying any just debts that I owe and leave all the lands and property that I now own at his disposal and give all right & title to the same with full and complete power to make title to the same which shall have ful force and effect and be binding at though I had done the same myselft.  I make this last will and testament & Trust that he will maintain and educate my dear children and believing it to th___ interest.
In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal with request that I be buried according to ways of the Christian Church.  I now admonish my husband children relatives and friends and ___ that will serve god- allways keeping his command_____ and praying his blessing upon all, I resign my soul to him in hope of a bright and ?hapy future.  Wh____ I can ascribe all honor and prais unto him Amen.
