Lee County Kentucky Wills

Will of Hugh Robison



I Hugh ROBISON of Lee County Kentucky being of sound mind but weak in body and knowing the uncertainty of death, I do hereby make this my last will and testament.

1st It is my will that all my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executrix herein after named.

2nd I bequeath to my beloved wife Rebecca Jane ROBISON all of my house hold and kitchen furniture, beds and bed clothing, dishes knives and forks, Spoons cooking utensils provisions, poultry farming utensils , horses, hogs, cattle, money notes accounts and all of a personal character, that I possess, or would be entitled to if living.

3rd Also I devise to my beloved wife Rebecca Jane ROBISON my farm lying and being in Lee County Kentucky, and situated on Blaines branch a tributary of the north fork of the Kentucky river, and the same land on which I now reside for her separate use and benefit, and she is authorized to dispose of it by will ordered as she sees proper.

4th I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Rebecca Jane ROBISON my executrix of this my last will and testament, and direct that she be qualified and act as my executrix without executing bond.

5th And I hereby revoke any all former wills made by me.

I J. B. SMYTH Clerk of the Lee County Court do hereby certify that the foregoing last will and testament of Hugh ROBISON dec'd, was on the 24th day of June 1895 produced to the Lee County Court and filed and offered for probate and proven by the oaths of E. T. HOWELL and Sherdian FIELDS two of the subscribing witnesses thereto, on the 22 day of July 1895 and the same was by order of said court allowed and established as the last Will and Testament of Hugh ROBISON dec'd.  And ordered to be admitted to record.  Whereupon the same and this certificate have been this day duly recorded in my said office. Given under my hand this 12th day of August 1895
