Will of John F. Creech


Know All Men by These Presents

That I, John F. CREECH, of Williba Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory, over the age of twenty one years, and realizing the uncertainty of this life do hereby make, declare, publish and ordain this, my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other Wills and Codicils heretofore made by me.

1.  I hereby give devise and bequeath all my property of every kind and description, and wherever situated to my wife, Julia CREECH to be used by her for her use and benefit, and for the benefit of my unmarried Children as hereinafter set, for the period of her natural life as long as she remains my unmarried widow, and in the event of her death or remarriage, which ever comes first then it is my will that all my said property shall then be and I hereby give devise and bequeath in fee jointly to my heirs at law then in being.

2.  I hereby nominate and appoint my siad wife Julia CREECH to be the Executor of this my Last Will and Testament as long as she remains unmarried after my death, and request that no bond be requested of her, and I direct her to allow all my single Children to have a home on the place with her as long as they remain single.

In testimony of which Witness my hand at Beattyville, Kentucky, this 5th day of October 1945.

We the two undersigned persons hereby certify that the foregoing sheet of typewritten matter was subscribed in our presence by John F. CREECH as his Last Will and Testatment, and that we each affixed our names thereto as witnesses thereof in the presence of said John F. CREECH and in the presence of each other at Beattyville, Kentucky this the 5 day of October 1945.

I, Elizabeth M. SIPPLE, Clerk Lee County Court, certify that the foregoing Last Will and Testament of John F. CREECH, was on the 10th day December, 1945, produced in open Court, acknowledged to be the Last Will and Testament of John F. CREECH, deceased, and ordered to record, whereupon the same and this my certificate has been duly recorded in my said office in Will Book No. 1, page 504.
Given under my hand, this 12th day of December 1945.
