Will of Joseph Rogers


In the name of God Amen.
I Joseph ROGERS being old and knowing the certanty of death and being sound in mind and of disposing memory do make and publish this my last Will.

1st.  I desire all my just debts be paid

2nd.  I desire that at my death that I receive a decent burrial

3rd.  After the payment of all my just debts I bequeath to my beloved wife Susan ROGERS all my personal property of every kind consisting of houses, cattle, household goods money and notes & closes in Actioin.

4th.  I desire to my beloved wife Susan ROGERS all my lands where I now live in Lee County Kentucky for her use and benefit and to be disposed of by her in any way she may wish either by deed or will.

5th.  I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife Susan ROGERS my Executrix who will act as such Executrix without executing bond.

I, D. B. PENDERGRASS, Clerk of the Lee County Court certify that the foregoing Will Joseph ROGERS to Susan ROGERS signed and witnessed as above was on this day the 26th day of November 1906 It being a regular term of the Lee County Court, filed in open Court and ordered to  lie over thirty days for exceptions same having laid over as aforesaid and no objections having been made therto,  It was then on the 14th day of December 1906 it being a regular term of the Lee County Court, probated and ordered to record.
Whereupon the same and this my certificate have been duly recorded in my said office.
Given under my hand this 26th day of Feby 1907
