Will of Letcher Snowden
|I, Letcher SNOWDEN, of St.
Helens Kentucky, do make and publish and declare the following to be my
last will and testament.
I hereby bequeath to my daughter, Georgia SNOWDEN (now single) the home place where I now live, and also the plot of ground belonging to me and used as garden for her use and benefit so long as she remains unmarried, and at her death if she remains single, it is my will that my other surviving heirs shall share equally in said property but I bequeath to my said daughter Georgia SNOWDEN, as an absolute gift all of my house-hold and kitchen furniture and fixtures.
It is my will that all my lawful heirs shall take part and share equally in the mineral rights, which were reserved by me in a sale of land sold by Albert COUCH, near St. Helens Kentucky; and that it is further my will that all my surviving heirs at my death shall share equally in whatever insurance my estate may be entitled to at my death.
Signed by Letcher SNOWDEN, and by him acknowledged to be his last will and testament in our presence, and sight and hearing, who at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other at Beattyville, Kentucky, this January 16th, 1935.
