Will of Mary Brandenburg Ratliff


Beattyville, Kentucky
June 22, 1927

I, Mary BRANDENBURG RATLIFF, being of sound mind realize that life is uncertain and death is certain, wish to make this my last will and testament.

After all my expenses of every description are paid, I wish to bequeath to my son, Chester BRANDENBURG, every thing I possess.

I, S. M. ESTES, Clerk of the Lee County Court, do hereby certify that the foregoing Will and Testament of Mary BRANDENBURG RATLIFF, was filed in my said office on Oct. 8, 1928, at a regular term of the Lee County Court, and the same having been properly proven by the Court in open Court as the Law directs, same is ordered to lay over thirty (30) days for exceptions, and no exceptions having been taken, the same is now ordered to be record at a regular term of the Lee County Court held on the 12th day of November, 1928.

Wherefore the same and this my certificate have been duly recorded in my said office in Will Book No. 1, pages 215.
Given under my hand this the 14th day of November, 1928.
