I, P. D. COON, of Fincastle, Lee County, Kentucky being of sound mind and disposing memory and realizine the uncertainty of life, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows;  hereby revoking all wills heretofore made by me.

First:  It is my will and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid out of my estate.

Second:  I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mancy Green COON, all my property of every kind and character, both real estate, personal property and mixed property, wheresoever Situated, absolutely and in fee simple forever

Third:  I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife, Mancy Green COON, as Executrix of this my last will and testament and request that bond be not required of her.

In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name at Beattyville, Kentucky, this February 20th, 1937

I, Elizabeth MATTOCKS, Clerk Lee County Court, do hereby certify that the foregoing Last Will and Testament of P. D. COON, deceased, was on the 8th day of May 1939, and produced and filed in open Court and proven by the testimonies of Robert S. SMALLWOOD and E. B. ROSE, two subscribing witnesses there to and proven to be the last Will and testament of P. D. COON:  whereupon the same with the foregoing and this my certificate have been duly recorded in my said office in Will Book No. 2, [sic] page 401.
