Will of Squire P. Kash


St. Helens, Kentucky
October 21, 1933

Will of S. P. KASH

I, Squire Perkins KASH, being of sound mind and decorum, do hereby decree that my estate be disposed of in the following manner:

1 - I hereby appoint my oldest son, Dr. Roscoe _. KASH to be executor of the estate.

2 - To my son, Roscoe, I bequeath one fifth of my estate.

3 - To my son, Homer, I bequeath one fifth of my estate.

4 - To my son, Raymond, I bequeath one fifth of my estate.

5 - To my son Mattison, I bequeath one fifth of my estate.

6 - To my Daughter, Dorcas, I bequeath one fifth of my estate.

7 - To my Daughter, Beatrice, I bequeath the sum of Seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00), but to her I do not bequeath any part of my real or personal property.

8 - To my wife, Alice, I bequeath the net earnings of the farm products less annual school, county and State taxes, provided:  that said earnings shall be paid my wife though the executor of the estate __ that his Judgement and his Judgement alone sh___ determine the amound and purpose for which ____ money shall be spent.

9 - I further will that my son, Roscoe, in his cap____ as executor shall see that my wife and his mother shall be well taken care of with respect to health and personal and material comfort.

10 - I further will that no part of the estate shall __ divided , or sold until the death of my wife, Alice.

11 - I further will that no timber of any kind or description shall be cut of the Flat Woods farm without permission of the executor of the estate and under his supervision or some one appointed by him in that cap___.  I also will that the net profit from said timber __ be divided among the following heirs:  my wife, Alice, my son Mattison, and my duaghter Dorcas, to receive ___ of the net profit;  my sons, Homer, and Raymond ___ receive 15% of the net profit;  and my son, Roscoe to receive 10% of the net profit.

I, Elizabeth MATTOCKS, County Court clerk, in and for the county and State aforesaid, do hereby certify that the foregoing Will of S. P. KASH, deceased, was on 1st day of December, 1933, at a regular term of the Lee County Court filed in my office and the same having been properly proven by the Court in open Court as the law directs; and same having lain over thirty days for exceptions and no exceptions having been taken, same was confirmed and ordered to  record on December 11th 1933, whereupon the same with the foregoing and this my certificate have been duly recorded in my said office in Will Book No. 1, page 297..
