Will of William Thomas Eager

Know All Men by these Presents:  That I, W. T. EAGER, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and publish this my last will and Testament, hereby revoking all previous wills and codicils by me made.

First:  That after my funeral expenses and all just and honest debts are paid, I hereby will, bequeath and give to my children Mollie EAGER FLANERY, wife of Mart FLANERY, Pryse EAGER, Mattie EAGER CHESTER, wife of W. B. CHESTER, Earl T. EAGER or the heirs of their body, if they be deceased at my death, and to William EAGER and Bonnie Chester EAGER, heirs of my deceased son, R. T. EAGER, all the personal and real property of which I may be posesed at my death of every nature, character and kind.  And I direct that my said property be equally divided between the above named beneficiaries;  that is to say, that the above named William Thomas EAGER and Bonnie Chester EAGER shall receive out of my estate such a part of same as my son, R. T. EAGER, would have received had been living at my death.

Second.  I hereby empower and direct my Executor, hereafter named, to sell and convey any and all real estate I may be possessed of at my death if he deems it to the best interests of the beneficiaries herein named, and to divide the proceeds thereof between them, and all my personal property shall be so divided, if in condition so to be, and if not, my said Executor is directed to sell same and divide the proceeds thereof equally among the beneficiaries herein named.

Third.  I hereby appoint and nominate my son, Pryse EAGER, as my Executor, and ask that he be permitted to act as such without bond.  And I direct him to carry out the provisions of this my last will and testament.

I, J. B. HIERONYMUS, Clerk of the Lee County Court, certify that the foregoing Will of W. T. EAGER, deceased, was filed and proven in the Lee County Court at its Regular Term, October 14th 1918;  and at the Regular Term, December 9th, 1918, of the Lee County Court, same was probated as the last Will and Testament of W. T. EAGER, deceased, and ordered to be recorded.  Whereupon the same and this my certificate have been duly recorded in my said office in Will Book No. 1, pages 164 and 165.
