Hugh NEEDHAM, 62, former resident of Owsley county, died at his home in Jackson on Tuesday, May 12, following a long illness.

Funeral services and burial were held Tuesday at Jackson.

Born and raised in Owsley county, Mr. NEEDHAM was president of the R.L. Davis Coal Company.

He is survived by his widow:  two sons, Robert of Jackson and William of Louisville, and one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Day of Atlanta, Georgia.
