Private Squire COMBS of Captain SMALLWOOD Company, D of the 8th Ky Regiment of Kenty. Vol. Inf was enlisted by R.B. JAMEISON, the 24th day of September 1861, to serve 3 years;  he was born in Owsley Co in the State of Kentucky is 24 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, dark complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation when enlisted a Farmer.  During the lst two months said soldier has been unfit for duty [blank] days.
