Bennett's Cemetery

Est. 1778
Bennett Cemetery Rd.
Todd Co., KY
(Northeast of Elkton, off Marshall Williams road)

This cemetery is on a hillside, with the entrance at the bottom of the hill. The rows are not exactly even. Some of the stones have migrated down the hill and some have been moved or dislodged. (There are several stones laying along the left fence row where they seem to have been tossed.) Some people are buried here in unknown locations with only stones as markers. Once the rock markers have been moved (I am sure unintentionally) there is no way to know where family members are buried. If anyone knows of a family member that is buried here with only a rock for a marker, please let me know so I can make a note of it for future generations.
Names on stones are all in caps, but for ease of locating family members only surnames are caped here. Also, some of these entries might simply be footstones but since so many stones have been moved, and some only had rocks (or footstones), I am entering them all. (FS means "footstone") I have numbered the entries to help in locating them, they go from left to right. (The markers that are "poured white concrete?" were made by my grandfather George Leonard Williams. I don't know what he used but the material erroded and family members replaced them and used "Pappie's" markers as footstones. Thats why you may find 2 entries for your people.) Broken stones are marked with an * by its number and misplaced or moved stones have a %.
