Office hours: 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday-Friday. Closed for major holidays. Vital Statistics is located on the first floor in the main lobby of the Cabinet for Human Resources Building (CHR) behind the receptionist desk.

Death, Marriage & Divorce: $6.00 per certificate

Note:  Please go over all these records carefully, I see many errors.  The errors are not the fault of the Kentucky Department for Libraries & Archives, I am sure they copied them as they were written.  The following is an example of what I mean by errors:

This child's last name is actually Brownfield and his mother's last name is Vickroy.  Now how you get Kunfield from Brownfield I haven't a clue.  The reason I am telling you this, is that perhaps this is the way the birth certificates are filed at Frankfort and if you are looking for your ancestor's birth certificate, you might need this spelling.
