I have the original plot dated Sept. 1, 1810 and the deed for 146 acres on
South Fork of Licking River. The deed consisted of the land what was later
known as the Coleman property in West Falmouth. Said deed was given to
James Wilson, St. (Sr.?) by G. Pickett.
One can see the beautiful black chain fence which enclosed the burial site which
according to the deed is not to be destroyed. There are seven graves -
five members of the Wilson Family and two Coleman. All the stones are now
broken or have disappeared except that of James Wilson, Sr., which was embedded
in a tree.
Just over the hill from the grave plot on South Fork of Licking River can be
found Coleman Springs, a drink from which refreshed many passerby. Coleman
Spring never runs dry and once was camp area of the Indians.

Mar. 2, 1851 - d. Aug. 11, 1851, age 5 mo. 9 days (Sister of Thomas
Pickett Wilson)
