Samuel Wilson b.Sept.12,1790 Caroline Co., Va. to James Wilson Sr. and Agnes Pickett. Samuel married Elizabeth "Betty" Clark March 6,1808 Pendleton Co., Ky. He died abt.1850 Clark's Creek, Grant Co., Ky. Children:

(2)William "Bill" Wilson born 1813 Ky. d.1893 Wayne Co., Iowa. married 
(a)Elizabeth "Betsy" Jump (b)Mary Ann Nealy. Occupation: Farmer
Military: Served in Co."G" 42nd Mo. Infantry during Civil War.
Buried: Fordice-Edmond-Georgetown Cemetery, Wayne Co., Iowa. Occupation: Farmer and owned a hotel and tavern. Moved to Iowa approx 1848-1849. Listed in the Federal Census for Wayne Co., Iowa 1850.
(3)Hiram Wilson b.1816 Ky. died Jan.1864 Grant Co., Ky. married Mary Emily "Courtney" Webster April 17,1835 Falmouth, Pendleton Co., Ky.
Notes: Hiram and wife Mary Emily "Courtney" Webster were found on the 1860 Census Grant Co.,Ky. living next door to their daughter Emily "Courtney" Wilson and her husband John Hensley Marksberry.
Cause of death: Hiram was shot by his son-in-law Kinman. When he was operated on, they found he had cancer. He died shortly after that.
This family did not move to Iowa when the others did. Children:

Military: Isaac "Ike" Wilson served in the Civil War with 18th Regiment, Co."B", Missouri Infantry Volunteers. He and Nancy E. Burns were divorced 1865. Nancy E. Burns married John W. Rankin. Isaac than married Margaret Jane Eli 1865. Margaret raised Isaac's children from his prev. marriage. Children of Margaret Eli and Ike were:
