PASSENGER LISTS & SHIPS

Passenger Lists

This page needs your help. If you have access to any Suffolk County (Boston) passenger lists that you would like to share with researchers, I hope you will contact me, or if you learn of other Boston passenger lists. Thank you.

At this time all links below are off-site:

Steve Morse sites:

Steve Morse has a one-page web site search engine that helps people
easily navigate the Ellis Island data. It is located at:
http://www.stevemorse.org/
The Gold Page, which allows for searching for companions (like a mother and son):

http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/EIDB/ellisgold.html
or the White Page here:

http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/EIDB/ellis.html

You will need to have a free registered account with the Ellis Island
web site to access it and see the images, but not to see the search
results.

TIP: It works very well to type in a partial surname and the name of an Irish Parish (for example) where they came from. Often those who came to Boston, entered through New York. (Steve also has Boston search engines, but they require an Ancestry subscription.)
[Thank you to Susan Daily for providing the above information.]
