Located in section 12, on Buffalo Road, this cemetery is #33 in the Michigan Cemetery Atlas. Take Red Bud Trail south, from Buchanan. At the intersection of Buffalo Road go east about a mile. This land was part of the Frederick Howe farm, first used as a family burial place, later in the 1830's Frederick donated the land to the township. Most of the early burials are relatives or neighbors, who became related to the Howes. Many of the markers are showing signs of age and weather, several are broken. The cemetery is a well kept, lovely site. As usual, I welcome corrections and/or additions. I first transcribed information from markers in 1964 & again in 2003, then cross referenced the dates and added information from various vital, census, family and Internet records. Sincerely, Daundra
