Highland Cemetery, aka Brown School Road Cemetery is located on the south side of Brown School Road, west of Cleveland Avenue. It is owned and cared for by the City of St. Joseph. The burial records are at Riverview Cemetery, 2925 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085. A large number of stones are known to be missing from this cemetery. Some stones are badly worn, thus hard to read. No map of the cemetery exists. In 2003, the cemetery was re-read and pictures have been taken of all markers on site.
