MILLIARD, VANHORN posted by Ed Van Horn on Sunday, September 8, 1996: Ancestors of Benjamin VANHORN, husband of Irene MILLIARD of Clawson, MI. Benjamin came to Michigan about 1850 Settled in Hunter's Creek later in Farmer's Creek, both in Lapeer county. Benjamin and Irene later moved to Kingston, Tuscola county, where they died. They had 9 children, Cornelius, Benjamin, Oliver, Simon, John, a daughter who died young, Cryus, Alvin, and George. Informaiton is needed regarding the parents of Benjamin Van Horn, who possibly migrated from New Jersey, where he possibly was born in 1807.

Samuel PEARSALL was born 13 Feb 1799 in NY m Elizabeth HUTCHINS b 1804 NY and had at least 8 children: Marvin, Thomas, Jane, Margaret, George, Electa, Abigail, Charles. I have a direct line of descendents of their son Thomas PEARSALL b 8 Dec 1829 m1 Maria PEASE, m2 Jane RICHARDS. My line is from Thomas and Jane Richards. Thomas and Jane had at least 4 children: Samuel b 1851, Gehaile b 30 Sept 1854, Henry b 1856, and Thomas b 1858. I am seeking information on any/all of their siblings and descendents. The first Samuel PEARSALL (b 1799) migrated to MI abt 1829 and he and his wife had at least 5 of their children in MI. Thomas (1829) had all 4 of his children in MI - in and around Oakland Co. Henry married Mary Ann LEWIS, b.21 Jul 1825 in West Canada (possibly Dereham, Ontario. Henry and Mary Ann moved to Lapeer Co., MI during the early or mid 1850's. Both Henry and Mary Ann remain- ed in Lapeer Co., MI until their deaths.
