- My g-grandfather Peter Wills came from Edinburgh, Scotland in 1906 and settled in Marshall Michigan. One of his sons, Robert Wills (my grandfather) spent considerable time (I think) in Lapeer and married Myrtle Griswold in the late 191x's who is from Lapeer. - Looking for the family of Rhoda EDWARDS. She was born in Lobo, Ont on Dec 29, 1845. She came to MI with her family when she was about 10 yrs. old. She married Peter PROVOST here when she was 16. Their son Wm. E. PROVOST (b. 1885) was my father. Wm. married Vera GORSLINE. Vera graduated from Brown City High school in 1927. - I am looking for my relatives from the Hadley township-Metamora area. I belive they lived on Cramdon road. The Original Descendats were John and Augusta Paslean. They came from Germany in the late 1800's-Early 1900's. My Grandfather married Helen Mueller, Which is a descendant of the Eick family. Thank you.

- William D. FACER (1833-1907), son of Lewis FACER, Jr. and Susan B. BAKER, married Elisabeth HORNBY. According to recently discovered marriage certificate they were married on the second of October 1871 at Imlay City by Walter B. Churchill. William FACER born in Detroit and Elisabeth HORNBY ,aged 24 years, born in Canada West. Witnesses were Charles PALMER and Elia PALMER.
William FACER and Elisabeth HORNBY had two children who survived infancy, Francis Dazie FACER and Burton Wellington FACER, both were born in Port Huron, St. Clair County. Francis married Cyrus Austin LITTLE and in the late 1800's Cyrus and Francis Little relocated to northeast Wisconsin accompanied by Burton Facer and William FACER, now a widower.

- I am looking for information connected to my Seth H. WATSON, and his wife Harriet "Hattie" TAYLOR. They settled in Elba, ELBA Twp. Lapeer Co.MI, by 1867 , for which I have a March birth and a Sept birth for a son Leslie and a daughter Emma Ellida WATSON, respectively. Leslie had 3 sons, Elmer, Lincoln, Homer, and a daughter, Catherine. He had married to Mary Klinghammer, and they settled in Port Huron, on Little Street. Leslie died age 57 ,in 1927, resulting from an amputation of his leg, following a work related accident, at the Port Huron Engine and Thresher Co. Any more information regarding Seth WATSON'S family is appreciated. Looking to see if he had a brother named Walter C. WATSON, married to Carrie Cowell.

- Searching for the birthplace of my great-grandmother Annabelle MacIntosh. My Info is simply that she was born in MI in approx 1872. Both of her parents were from Ohio. Meeting alot of dead ends on this one.
Also, looking for info on my Grandfather Freeman L. Dentel, his father was Bertrand F. Dentel and mother was Frances Verdon. That is all that I know of him.

- Amon Robert STEVENS born December 31, 1832, Genesee Co. NY, married Anna Arvilla Mattison, November 16, 1852, in Onondaga Inghram Co, Mi. Anna died November 18, 1885 Lapeer Co. MI. they had 6 children, Julies Henry, Ezra Mattison, Mary Arvilla, Edgar Julies, Emma Marie married Ludlan Ovaitte, and Sarah. Amon died in Jackson, Mi. February 5, 1918.

- Samuel William CRANKSHAW married Elizabeth Maria MASTEN in 1829 in New York. They came to Michigan in 1846 and settled in Lapeer in what is today Farmer's Creek, Elba Twp, after 1850. Samuel was born 25 Oct. 1797 in Montreal, Canada, son of Moses and Mary (Rose) CRANKSHAW. They were in NY by 1800. Samuel married first, Maria JAY in 1814 and had 5 children: Martha, Moses, Peter, Thomas Mac and Phillip. Maria died 30 Nov. 1827 in NY, and Samuel mar. 2nd, Elizabeth Maria MASTEN, dau of Hazael & Charity (GUMAER) MASTEN. She died 2 Aug. 1886 in Rich Twp., Lapeer County. Their children: Margaret, Samuel, Isaac, Charles, Mary Ann, Jacob, George, Hazael & Charity. Wish to exchange info on any CRANKSHAW's.

Hazael was son of Samuel & Elizabeth (MASTEN) CRANKSHAW of Hadley Twp. Hazael, named for his maternal grandfather, and Catherine lived in Rich Twp., Lapeer County and had 11 ch: William, Myra, Anna, Harry, Harvey, Daune, Ray, Jesse, Clark, Zetta and Hazel. - John B. HENDERSON and his wife came to Attica in 1837. John was born in N.Y. But I do not know where in N.Y. Margaret was born in N.J. But I do not know her maiden name. John was born around 1797. John was my third GGrandfather and he had many sons, most of them also born in N.Y. His youngest son Chester was born in attica (my 2nd GGrandfather). Chester married Elizabeth C. SMITH. Elizabeth's father was James R. SMITH, mother Carrie TRIBE. No ideas where they were born or died. If anyone has any info. on John B., Margaret and/or James SMITH and Carrie TRIBE, it would be greatly appreciated.

- In the 1870 Census of Lapeer County/Marathon Township, John Lavery is listed. His wife was Laura J. Wilson. In the census, it also listed three children: Eliza J., Emma A., and Alvin G. Lavery. Alvin is my Great Grandfather. I knew nothing of his sisters until I found the census record. The two girls were listed as born in Canada along with Laura. I am looking for any information about the two girls. I don't know where the family moved to after they left Lapeer County, IF they left?

- Looking for information on Lewis E. Osborn b. 3 Sept 1831 m 20 Oct 1850 to Mary Emmaline Lathrop. Lewis died 24 March 1860 in Mayfield Township, Lapeer Co., MI. His father may have been George S. Osborn. Lewis and Mary had three children: William Stanley Osborn, Hortense Osborn and Frederick Osborn.
Looking for info on Mary Emmaline Lathrop. She was born 2 Nov 1833 - parents were Horace Newton Lathrop and Emeline Dunning Pettis. She married Lewis E. Osborn on 20 October 1850. She died 30 September 1910. Mary and Lewis had three children: William Stanley Osborn, Hortense Osborn, and Frederick Osborn.

- Looking for a son (or children/grandchildren) of John Vanharen (born The Netherlands 1880, emigrated 1910, who has lived in Silverwood (around 1992)and died 1994 in King County, WA. Name of his son is John, might use familyname VanHaren, Lemke (mother's name) of Lemke VanHaren. He is a very distant relative of my wife (Marjon van Haren)and he is wanted in relation to a part of the inheritance of his aunt Mijntje van der Helm-van Haren, who died Delft (The Netherlands) in 1991. - Nathaniel Smith (1788-1855) and his wife Ruth were both born in New York. They died in Almont Township, Lapeer Co. and are buried in Sandhill Cemetery there. They had John S., Betsy, Oliver Phillip, Jacob, Spencer, Narthaniel Jr., Hiram, George, Mary and Edwin (1834-1901). All the children except for Edwin were born in New York. Edwin was born in Macomb County, Michigan. I would appreciate any information about Nathaniel or Ruth and their ancestry.
