Vasold Family Cemetery

The Vasold Cemetery was established in 1877 by August M.C. von Vasold. The cemetery is situated on the west bank of the Tittabawassee River in Tittabawassee Township of Saginaw County, Michigan, 1.8 miles south of the intersection of Freeland Rd. and N. River Rd. This is a family owned cemetery and is private, although anyone is welcome to visit. With the permission of Gerald D. Vasold, great great grandson of August M. C. von Vasold, I was able to walk the cemetery and make a written and photographic record of the headstones of the individuals interred there. The following is accurate as of November 21, 1999. I have noted all information given on each headstone, and where applicable the spouse of the male member of the marriage and children of those individuals.
