Hi all. I'm trying to accurately list the children of the following descendants of Charles LOCKE, of Antrim and Perry. George Lewis LOCKE m. Harriet STEWARD. Did they have more children than Alice LOCKE b. abt 1858; Calvin LOCKE m. Sarah________, they had Edwin, Bert(ie), Cassius and Edna. Did they have other children? Bert(ie) m. Evelyn_____ , did they have children? Calvin m. Ellen______, did they have children? J. Henry LOCKE m. Emma Anna_____, they had Fred and Joesph. Did they have additional children? Charles LOCKE was b. 5/11/1811 in Madison, NY, m. (1) Arvilla TITUS. They had George, Calvin, Elizabeth, Nancy and Charles Robert. Did they have any other children? Charles m. (2.) Julia Ann STEVENS. They had J. Henry, Charles W., Libby and Hattie. Did they have other children? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Almost all of the above died in Perry, MI and are buried in the cemetery there. Also many of them married there. I am most interested in (1) discovering if any of the couples had additional children and (2) names of the females and any of their descendants. Any pointers to research materials will be appreciated. I have found very little on shiawassee County. Thanks for all the help. Jerry Harrison.

Would like to hear from anyone researching or knowing anything about the VANWORMER surname. I'm attempting to create a database containing all available information about this surname. when the westward migration began, many VANWORMERs moved to Michigan. I believe there were large groups in Shiawassee and Lenawee Counties and maybe others. I'd be happy to try to answer questions about this surname from material that I've assembled. Thank you.

Hunting JORDAN surname in Dexter area. Thomas Henry JORDAN b. Mar 23, 1869 in Dexter. Washtnaw Co., d. Sept. 30, 1957 in Corunna, Shiawassee Co. Thomas' parents and grandparents were born in Ireland. They were in Fingal, Ontario in 1864. They then moved to Washtnaw Co., MI. they are buried in the Catholic cemetery in the Dexter area. Looking for their names, birth dates, and death dates. They had four children all born in Vernon, MI: Lovina b. 1840, Ann Eliza b. 1844, Nelson b. 1846 and Martha Rachel b. 22 Nov. 1843, m. Lyman W. HAMMOND, 2 Mar. 1861 in Vernon. Although my information says that she was born in Shiawassee Co., she told my mom that she was born on the MI / Canada border and didn't have a birth certificate because the courthouse burned down.
